That sed, the reason that rock piles are to not be built on the lava fields is because rock piles are used to mark trails across the lava.  For those of you who have not seen the lava fields in Hawai'i, imagine acre after acre, mile after mile of nothing but black rock.  Here and there is a pile of rocks, marking a trail across the lava.

Playing with these piles, making new piles, could easily leave people lost on these immense fields, out of water, and truly in danger.</description>
