While getting her learn on at Columbia, Candy lent a design hand to some of her program's extracurricular activities. One of these was the Lectures in Planning series, where professionals and academics come to campus to share poignant planning topics with students. Word bubbles and simple graphics were used to make the topics less intimidating and more accessible to all.
